Summary of The Land of Stories Book 1 (The Wishing Spell)

Alex and Conner Bailey live ordinary lives in their small and ordinary rental house with their mum. However, the twins don't know that their ordinary and simple lives are about to change - greatly. When their grandmother gives them a fairy tale book, they learn the truth - The Land of Stories is real. 

They soon find out that Goldilocks is a wanted fugitive, Red Riding Hood has her own kingdom, and Queen Cinderella is about to have a newborn baby! The twins must get back home somehow. But to do this, they must find the ingredients for the Wishing Spell. 

The twins do not even know that they are about to experience the most dangerous and magical scavenger hunt there ever is - and even more, the Evil Queen is right at their back! 

It turns out that Alex and Connor Bailey's lives aren't that ordinary after all.
